Create your MAPsite
Create your MAPsite
Here are some tips on how to access and start editing your MAPSite.
1. First steps
While you can view your Published MAPsite on mobile, you will need a desktop browser to view/edit your Draft version (Google Chrome is also recommended for improved functionality).
Make sure you are logged into Google with your BAC account (see Figures A + B).
You may encounter issues accessing your Draft MAPsite if your primary active Google account is not set to your BAC email. To resolve ongoing issues with access:
Log out of all Google accounts.
Sign back in only with your BAC email and password.
If you have trouble signing in with your BAC email credentials, please contact help@the-bac.edu for account support.

2. Accessing your Draft MAPsite
There are several possible methods to access your Draft MAPsite:
Log in to Moodle and open any of the Practice-related courses on your dashboard. In the right-hand menu of these courses, you'll find a link to your Draft MAPsite -- you may need to reveal this menu and scroll (see Figure C).
Sign in to sites.google.com using your BAC account. Once signed in, search for your full name (make sure the search filter is set to "Owned by anyone").
Find the link in the email you received on the date your MAPsite was created for you (see Figure D).
Pro tip: Once you locate your Draft MAPsite, use your browser tools to bookmark the link so you can easily return to it later.

3. Locate the Practice Assessment pages in Your MAPsite.
From your DRAFT LINK, use the navigation tools on the right side of the page to find the Practice Assessment page for your current assignment.
4. Add Images and Text
Familiarize yourself with the tools in this diagram.
Refer to Google's instructions to add or edit text & images.
Remember, no one can see your DRAFT site except you.
PLEASE NOTE: Images and drawings alone will NOT satisfy this assignment. You must write about the Practice learning competencies you want to demonstrate. This includes your role, responsibilities, collaborations, and lessons learned. See the assignment brief.
5. Publish Your MAPsite
To make your changes visible to others:
Click the “Publish” button on the top right.
A review screen will show side-by-side the changes that will be made to your PUBLISHED LINK.
Click the “Publish” button again to confirm.
6. Review Your PUBLISHED MAPsite
Before sharing your site with others:
Review your PUBLISHED LINK and make sure you are happy with your changes.
You may find inspiration in this completed MAP Site using current and former BAC student work here.
Refer to your assignment brief for other examples.
7. Review Share Settings
You can edit the sharing settings for your “published” MAP Site.
While your “published” site should be set, at a minimum, so that “Anyone at the BAC” can view it, we recommend setting your sharing settings for your published site so that “Anyone with the link can view”.
This will allow anyone you share the link with to access the site. If you want to change these sharing settings, refer to the Publish & Share.
8. Turn in a PDF of your MAPsite page on Practice Assessment Moodle.
